Cheating connotes various meanings when it comes to marriage. It does not necessarily mean the kiss of death for the marriage when wife cheats on her husband. However, it seriously signifies existence of troubled waters within the marriage.
Cheating doesn't mean your marriage is over but it could mean that your wife is emotionally moving on. It makes your job a little harder if you want to save your marriage but definitely not impossible. There is still room to recover even though she's building walls and shutting down emotional access to you.
How do you get through to your cheating wife?
1) Court your wife once again. Yes. You got it right. You need to go back to where it all started and work to win her heart once more. What's good here is that this time you already know which moves to make. However, you have a two-fold bad news with it. First, over time without practice you may be a little bit rusty already when it comes to courting your wife. Second, you are likely facing a pretty heavy competition at this time than what you had before.
2) Make her feel needed and appreciated. She probably still loves you. It takes a while for her to shut down complete and total emotional access when it comes to you. The longer you've been married the longer it will take, in general, for her to close down those emotions. She wants to make you happy even if it goes against her desires to be happy herself. Your mission in this case is to convince her that she does make you happy for all the big and small needs in your life that no one meets or has ever met the way your wife does.
3) Allow her some glimpses of the person she fell in love with. Yes, that's right. A program is how your wife may see you from the very start. That however, is not a sign that she does not cherish those which she worked to improve in you. Let her see some of those incurable yet romantic spirits in you. Be the man she fell in love with and she'll definitely not find it easy to stick to her position and pull herself away from you.
4) Get her away from the other man for a little while. Take a week away, just the two of you. No matter how much of an expense it may be it's not worth losing your marriage by not doing it. No kids, no work, just the two of you together. It might not be the most romantic outing you've ever gone on together but it needs to make attempts to be. You want to win her heart back and the only way that's going to happen is if you get her away from him and use that time wisely.
