Most of the parties are held during night time, so you should work on your areas lighting. It doesnt only impose a party feeling, but it also helps your guests see through. See this, having a dim and yellowish lighting in an unilluminated room would change the mood of the party from a dull one, to a classy one. When, if you leave the room without much lighting, guests would then have difficulties in either seeing other guests, or even walk through their tables.

Some options for lighting include candles, colored light bulbs and spotlights - all of which can be achieved easily on a budget.

Candles - Space candles around a room, and test out the positioning prior to the commencement of the party. Ensure that all candles are placed as high up as possible, so they are less likely to be knocked over. Buy a small household fire extinguisher just in case the worst should happen, or insert a glass over each candle for an extra effect. Lastly, secure the candles with tape if you are particularly concerned.

Colored Bulbs - Want a really party feel in the room? Buy those colored light bulbs! Not only cheap and easy to find online and on hardware stores, these bulbs gives life to your venue and really gives it a different look. It can be inserted into your used sockets, and be used economically. Just a tip, a red light gives the impression of having a ladies of the night.

Spotlights - Spot lights such as stick-and-click, produces sufficient lighting with a gentle touch to the venue. A few dollars, maybe a dollar or two, would suffice to buy stick-and-click spotlights. To assemble and to add, if the venue demands for more lighting, say the kitchen area, you just have to unfasten the lights backing, put the batteries, thrust it to the wall, then it can be switched on and off.

You just have to remember that in choosing the right lighting, you're considering the benefits it would do to your guests, so they'd properly see through the venue, as well as the mood and feel it would add to the party. It should have a great tone and impression to easily set the vibes of everyone.
